BEI was founded in 1984 on the north side of Chicago on the principle of providing a full range of electrical services, each executed in a thorough, professional manner by individuals expert in their field. This principle has worked with tremendous success due in part to the vision and dedication of its president and founder John R. Oehler.
John Oehler's involvement with each project helps to ensure the success of the every project BEI is involved with. It is John’s dedication and commitment to all of our projects that have helped BEI continue to grow. The company moved to its corporate office to our new location in Elk Grove Village, IL in 2004.

John Oehler’s extensive electrical management credentials are corroborated by his own entrepreneurial skills. John leads the BEI team, which includes Estimating, Project Management, Financial, Field and Executive staff.
Through John’s strong focus on professional electrical work and quality customer service standards, BEI has cultivated an image of respect among both its customers and its competitors.
